Two communication methods
Luminaires may communicate over a wired BUS connection or by AirBUS radio. Pay attention to the channel assigned in the device list.
An address is not enough
The same address number can occur on different channels. Identify a luminaire using both channel and address, then compare its location description with the actual installation.
The device card
The device card contains data and available settings. Before diagnosis, record the channel, address and exact message.
A communication failure and a light-source fault are different conditions. Keep the exact message and software version when requesting service.
