AirBUS: luminaire transmit power and SEND SYNC

480 × 320 display screens in the selected language. The yellow outline marks where to tap. Illustrated data is for demonstration.

Display interface
Before you start

Have your own administrator or service PIN and the required luminaire radio power ready. The luminaires must have power and be reachable by radio to receive synchronization. After saving, you will also run Send SYNC in the Radio menu. Controller access codes →

    Step 5: Choose “In lumin.”
    5Step 5 / 8

    Choose “In lumin.”

In the Radio menu, tap In lumin. in the upper right. This opens the shared radio power setting for AirBUS luminaires.

  6. EZF480 × 320 · Classic
Step 6: Choose the luminaire transmit power
    6Step 6 / 8

    Choose the luminaire transmit power

Tap the required positive dBm value in the two upper columns. A higher level increases power; a lower level reduces it. Example: +12 → +14 dBm. Available: +3, +6, +9, +12, +14, +16, +18, +20 dBm. The lower −085 dBm value is a separate RSSI threshold; the lower −/+ buttons adjust that threshold, not transmit power.

  7. EZF480 × 320 · Classic
Step 7: Save luminaire power with the disk icon
    7Step 7 / 8

Save luminaire power with the disk icon

Tap the disk icon in the upper left. The controller saves the setting and returns to the Radio menu. The next step — Send SYNC — is required to transmit the setting to the luminaires.

  8. EZF480 × 320 · Classic
    Step 8: Run “Send SYNC”
    8Step 8 / 8

    Run “Send SYNC”

After saving, tap the yellow-outlined Send SYNC tile. This is the additional menu action required for the luminaires. The controller requests radio synchronization with the saved power level. There is no additional confirmation dialog.

Finish and verify

After running Send SYNC, allow the network to synchronize. Reopen In lumin. to check the saved level. The highlighted value shows the setting stored in the controller; tapping SYNC does not confirm receipt by every luminaire.

Set luminaire radio power and send synchronization

Open the display steps.

  1. Open MENU. If needed, enter your own administrator or service PIN and confirm with OK. Controller access codes →
  2. Tap the right arrow, then Settings.
  3. On the first settings page, choose Radio in the lower right.
  4. Choose In lumin. in the upper right.
  5. Tap a level in the upper part of the screen: +3, +6, +9, +12, +14, +16, +18 or +20 dBm. Choose a higher value to increase luminaire radio power or a lower value to reduce it.
  6. Tap the disk icon. The controller saves the setting and returns to the Radio menu.
  7. Also run Send SYNC — the tile in the Radio menu, labelled Wysl. SYNC in Polish. This step is required to transmit the setting to the luminaires. There is no further confirmation dialog.
  8. Allow synchronization to run. The luminaires need power and a radio connection to receive the data.

Increasing and reducing power

Power is selected from fixed levels in dBm. +12 → +14 dBm increases power; +14 → +12 dBm reduces it. This is a shared radio power setting for the AirBUS luminaires.

Lower −/+ buttons and the RSSI threshold

The lower negative value, such as −085 dBm, is the RSSI threshold. The lower −/+ buttons adjust that threshold. Select transmit power by tapping a positive value in the two upper columns. Leave the RSSI threshold unchanged when adjusting only transmit power.

Check after saving

Reopening In lumin. shows the level stored in the controller. Selecting and saving the value do not replace Send SYNC. Tapping that tile requests synchronization; it does not individually confirm receipt by every luminaire.
